Scripture: "Be still, and know that I am God." — Psalm 46:10
I used to think unanswered prayers meant God was not listening. Turns out, sometimes the answer is: Wait. Watch. Learn what I am doing in the silence.
The Uncomfortable Gift of Waiting
Three months. That is how long I prayed for a breakthrough that never came—at least not in the way I expected. My journal entries from that season read like a spiritual wrestling match.
But here is what the waiting taught me: God silence is not absence. It is often His loudest teaching tool.
What I Discovered
During those months, I learned to distinguish between what I wanted and what I actually needed. The breakthrough I was begging for? Looking back, I was not ready for it. God was building character I would need later.
Keep praying, even when it feels like talking to the ceiling. That silence might be God saying: Trust Me enough to wait for something better.
